If it was up to me I would skip the introduction to this game or I would limited to just one word: Wolverine.

Now, for all you people thinking about "a strong dark-furred, usually solitary carnivore of the weasel family. Native to: forests of northern Europe, Asia, [and] North America", this is not the creature that I'm talking about.

Wolverine, in my personal opinion, is Marvel's greatest character. Women want him and men want to be him. Wolverine just has that power over us. He represents our barbaric side, our animal instinct while at the same time showing us that even though injury and physical pain can sometimes be easily treated (in Wolverine's case regenerated) the pain of the heart can affect even the toughest mutants.

That's why the latest movie to represent Marvel characters is not called X-Men 4 or X4 but X-Men Origins - Wolverine. You don't see Storm or Cyclops or any of the other mutants get their own film, but our infatuation with Wolverine has earned him that privilege. Not only that, but Activision is publishing the X-Men Origins - Wolverine video game. Let's face it, Wolverine has been busy. I just hope that he didn't sell out in the process; I want Wolverine, in both the movie and the video game to be the same Wolverine that I remember as a kid. With all this Swine Flu going around I did not dare venture in an enclosed movie theatre, but I was brave enough to venture to my local video game store and I got me a copy of the game. I'll let you know how it is.
