I'm usually not the biggest fan of racing games on the PSP due to the lack of processing power on the PSP's part, however, Rockstar's Midnight Club - L.A. Remix happens to be one of those games that forces me to play it over and over again.
I had lots of fun playing this game. What am I saying? I'm still having lots of fun playing this game. While the racing in itself is about the same as most other racing games on the PSP, it is the way that you race that makes this game great. First of all, there is no track system. This game is an open-world race track with lots of streets, alleys and sidewalks that you can drive on. There are multiple ways to reach a checkpoint and there are many shortcuts to discover that will help you leave your adversaries in the dust. While you will almost certainly be better off purchasing this game on the Xbox or the PS3, if you are a fan of the PSP or if you have to do any traveling anytime soon, Midnight Club - L.A. Remix is a must get. My profession is both a blessing and a curse. I'm blessed with playing video games for a living but at the same time I'm cursed with having to move on to a new game as soon as I'm done with the current one. I really wish I could take some time off and play this game for a few weeks strait. And, if you ever get tired of winning against the computer, you can always call up your buddy and see if he/she is up for a multiplayer race.
