My favorite Tony Hawk game has been Tony Hawk 2. After that it seems that the game just got insane with all the button combos and the overwhelming tricks and score requirements in order to move on and that's why I got Shaun White Snowboarding. This game is Shaun's first video game and I had a feeling that it will be strait to the point and basic and that's exactly what I got.
I wanted to snowboard, grind some rails and fallen logs, take some jumps and do some tricks and Shaun White Snowboarding gave me just that. This is a snowboarding game and snowboarding is what you get. Yes, there are some things that could be improved such as allowing the player to design their own rider for instance and for some reason there does not seem to be a Superpipe event in the PSP version of the game (actually I don't know if the Superpipe is included in any version of the game), but overall this is not a bad purchase. The one major downfall to the game is the fact that it is a very short game. If you're really good with buttons and button combos you can finish the game in a little over 5 hours of gameplay. On the bright side, this game does offer multiplayer so you and your friends can decide once and for all who the king of the mountain really is. This is a fun game and I have to go; I'll see you on the slopes!
