Wow! Need for Speed Undercover is an actual racing game with a storyline behind it. I'm both shocked and impressed at the same time.

Guess what? For once you're actually part of law enforcement instead of just being punk racer kid. But don't wary, even though you are the law you'll be chased by other cops time and time again.

You're going undercover with the main goal being to stop a heist. You're not very happy about it but a job is a job and you're job now is to drive. Drive well enough and you will earn the respect of other drivers and if you're lucky enough you might just infiltrate the criminal ring that's causing all the trouble and giving you heartburn at the same time. But have no fear; even though you have to break the law in order to get undercover, there are a few races where you can be yourself behind the wheel of a powerful police cruiser. So, the storyline in Need for Speed Undercover actually brings two perspectives to the game: the cop and the criminal but they all have one thing in common: you have to drive like a madman regardless on what side of the law you're on.
