They all laughed at me at the beginning, but as the night went along I ended up passing my PSP to many curious hands all reaching out for a turn to see just how smart they really were (or weren’t).
Winner or looser, it didn’t matter. Everyone had fun and everyone wanted another round. If the luck can change in poker it can change at Buzz Master Quiz. Out of 5000 question spread across multiple categories such as Nature, General Knowledge, Celebrities, Movies, Music, Science, TV and Sport, some of the question are really easy while others are really tough. Sometimes if the luck is with you and the questing bouncing your way are really easy and your points keep on rolling, while other times one wrong answer can cause the majority points to be lost. You can even end up in the negative if you keep on answering incorrectly.
As I’ve said, this game works great at small gatherings (a max of 6 players can play at a time), but it only works great if everyone else is on the same page. Playing Buzz Master Quiz with a sore looser can turn everyone’s game into a nightmare, but as long as people realize that the game selects the questions randomly without personal grudges against anybody, then everyone should have fun. You win some, you loose some. And if you have kids this is a good game to get them to actually learn something. Yes, there are a lot of questions about celebrities, TV and movies, but there are a lot of useful questions as well. And the game is only 20 bucks. I’m sooooo tired of overpriced games, so I treasure the moments when a game is priced for its actual true worth value. But the greatest thing about Buzz Master Quiz is the fact that at the end of the night you don’t have to clean up thousands of little pieces of cardboard.
