NBA 09 The Inside is a game filled with goodies. There is all the basketball stuff, but not the entire game is based on basketball alone. Even multiplayer matches are available. Online gameplay can be done through either the Wi-Fi infrastructure system or either through Ad Hoc mode.

I’ll focus on the b-ball stuff first. There is the Exhibition mode where you can play as any of the NBA teams. There is the All-Star weekend where you can show your individual basketball skills such as the 3-pointer competition. The Block Party mode includes mini-games such as Pinball, Carnival, Solo Games, Team Games and Quests. For example Dodge Ball is one of the many Team Games.

But the most influential feature to NBA 09 The Inside is the Franchise mode. I am the kind of gamer that loves building up a team from the ground up, so if a sports game has a franchise mode I’m willing to give it a try. This is the first year that franchise mode hit The Inside series, and although it does not have features like College Scouting and some kind of a Mini-Camp version, it is still a successful feature. First of all, there are 25 seasons that can be played through in franchise mode. While injuries can change the outcome of any given season, smart drafting and trading can help you build the ultimate dynasty.
