New fans – Just because I’ve played the Madden series since 1992 does not mean that everyone around me is just as old or as much of a nerd as I am. Some of you might not have even been born in 92. Anyhow, back to Madden. Although there is no official storyline, in Franchise mode you take your team through multiple seasons of bone-crushing football. The playing, the scouting, the drafting, contract signings, injuries and trades are all part of this “storyline” where YOU build your ideal ultimate team.
