For as long as the series has been around, Battlefield has been known for multiplayer action. Single player modes were usually made up of bot death match
games against poorly functioning bots that would just steal vehicles.
The entire series as a whole has been hit and miss, as far as which games are good and which are not, although they all follow the same basic formula. Both
teams try to capture and keep bases, whoever does better wins the match.
This time around, Dice has approached the series differently, focusing on the single player side of things instead of just the multiplayer. Throw in some
destructible environments and vehicles and you have the newest entry in the series, Battlefield Bad Company.
Can a game known for being a multiplayer franchise make the transition to single player and work well? Also, how does going console exclusive work for the
series, seeing as the roots are on the PC? These questions and quite a few more will be answered in the following pages.
