These are not only the best graphics to be found in the series, but these are the best graphics the Playstation 3 system has to offer so far. Everything
looks as good as you'd want it to, from the environments, to the wrinkles in Snake's face.
Snake still sports his trademark mullet, but what would Metal Gear Solid be without the mullet? Snake wouldn't be the same man, that's for sure. Besides,
it's amusing to see on such a powerful soldier.
Every character is beautifully done, you can see the extensive motion capture at work in every animation. Everything seems believable in appearance, and
fits perfectly into the world created by this game. I could go on forever about the graphics, but I think I'll let the screenshots speak for me on this one.
The animation comes through the most clearly in the game's long and involved cutscenes. They tell the story so beautifully through images and sound. The
voice acting is also the best the series has seen, and it wasn't horrible to begin with.
Real emotion is conveyed by this game, more so than the series has yet, even more than I though was possible by a video game, but with every scene I am
struck with awe yet again, on every level. Konami has done a wonderful job conveying a visual and aural masterpiece, one that truly must be experienced to
really appreciate.
