Personally, I found this latest release by Touchstone to be a fun product to play. Turok, in itself does not raise the bar for any feature in today's market when it comes to video games, but the way that all the features were arranged make for a very solid product.
The graphics are solid, the sound is great, the character dialogue is both serious and comical but it stays appropriate to the situation that you are in, and the presence of dinosaurs makes this game a must buy. Honestly, I think that this version of Turok is a mixture between Halo and Jurassic Park. Yes, the multiplayer is nothing new, and if you're the kind of person who buys shooters only for the multiplayer factor, then you may want to stay away from this title. However, if you're bored of the same old stuff found at your local video game store, picking up a copy of Turok will be a great idea. Turok has an intriguing storyline and the single player features more then make up for the boring multiplayer mode. Turok is by far an original release.
