If you're looking for a storyline with depth and a lot of plot, Sins of a Solar Empire is not a game for you.
I hate to say this, but about the only "story" you get is the story told in the startup video. While some readers will be deterred by the lack of storyline,
personally, I think that overall the game works out better.
It seems that game companies lately have invested a lot of time, money and effort in the movie and sound files of games, and less time, money and energy on
the actual game and gameplay. Sins of a solar Empire focused on what's important - the actual game. The beginning movie file does all that is necessary for
the game to function smoothly, but in this game's case, it's not a powerful storyline that drives this game. The driving force is the game itself and your
imagination.
