Now we come to the best part of Soldier of Fortune Payback, the multiplayer. This is part of the game they got right, even if it is a bit vanilla.

There's a few different modes at work here. Let's take a look at them.

Deathmatch - standard deathmatch, first one to target score wins

Team Deathmatch - same a the above while on teams

Capture the Flag - pretty self explanatory, same as the other CTF in games

Elimination - each player has a set number of lives, last man standing type match

Team Elimination - just what the name says

Demolition - Counter Strike-ish. The goal is for the attackers to plant a bomb at the defender's base.

In the multiplayer, just as in the single player, you can take your enemies apart piece by piece, ripping limbs from their body. Overall the multiplayer is pretty fun, and there's more modes than Crysis includes, but you'll have to make your own decision on if it makes up for the general lacking in the single player mode.
