I take my hat off to Race 07 when it comes to controls. Lately it has been impossible to find a racing title that can be played with keyboard, gamepad or a wheel well. Usually the game caters to one of the three.

Race 07 is more then playable on all three controllers, with the wheel being my favorite (but I'm just a week guy, one of my friends prefers the gamepad for any racing game). If keyboard, gamepad, or a wheel is not good enough for you, the game also offers a drive with a mouse mode (if you can drive with a mouse you're doing much better then me).

As I've stated, I'm a wheel kinda guy when it comes to racing games. I also look for realism in a racing game. Race 07 gives me exactly what I want (minus the car content). The game handles superbly on my Logitech Momo Racing Wheel.

Each vehicle has its own feel and you literarily have to adjust your driving depending on the car, the track or both. The weather effects change the game's physics completely, so even more adjusting is necessary. My first rain race caused me to plow through several opponents (and that was fun).
