While multiplayer is definitely an option, this game really caters out to the single player aspect of video game racing. The reason for that is that multiplayer gets old extremely fast due to the lack of automobile variety.

But returning to single player, the game offers Race Event, Championship, Time Attack, Online Time Attack, Practice and World Ranking. Each selection on the menu comes with many sub-sections that can be edited to preference.

For example under Championship Mode you can either focus on one of the official championships of the WTCC, or you can create your very own.

But overall, single player is just racing. Different cars (or more accurately, different paint jobs), different tracks, different weather conditions the AI and the damage effects makes Race 07 a solid racing game. Nothing fancy, just a lot of racing.
