Back when I was a kid, I remember sitting around and watching Transformers. I would sit there, watching the show, playing with my toys. I still have the VHS of the original cartoon movie somewhere, just no VCR to play it on. That is of course, assuming the tape even plays any more I watched it so much then.

When I first heard they were making a new movie, I couldn’t wait. It was a chance to see some of my favorite characters from my childhood redone in today’s animation. The new movie, all done with computers, would of course mean a game to follow it as well. It seems any movie that can be made into a game is, and even some that can’t.

The movie itself is spectacular, but can a game deliver as well? Movie/game crossovers rarely work well. There are a few exceptions, but these are few and far between. Let’s see if the Transformers game is one of the rare gems, or just another rock that falls to the bottom of the pile. I hope it rocks!
