Bigger, badder, cooler, and more action is the theme behind Bohemia Interactive’ s new combat simulator, Armed Assault: Combat Operations.

Although not a sequel, Armed Assault is in fact the new Operation Flashpoint. Various reasons forced the game designers to release the game under Bohemia Interactive rather than Codemasters, and those reasons also caused the game name to be changed as well.

Anyhow, regardless of the name changes, Armed Assault: Combat Operations is the same solid game that we’ve gotten to expect from Operation Flashpoint, only it’s taken to new heights in all aspects. The sound is crisper, the graphics are sharper, the controls are more responsive and the fun factor is… well let’s just say that I had a real hard time putting down the game so I can write this review.
