A while back, a game was being made under the name “Interview with a Made Man”. This project later was cancelled by Acclaim’s demise and was not going to be released. SilverBack Studios has since revived that title with the help of finding a publisher.

This game is supposedly based somewhat on actual mafia happenings. SilverBack teamed up with David Fisher, a best-selling authority on the mafia itself. David Fisher himself wrote most of the game, with the help of Bill Bonnano, former high-ranking member of the Bonnano crime family. He also helped to design the levels, in order to make it as authentic as possible. He himself says that everyone in the game is based on a real person.

I’m usually the type to be skeptical of games that get cancelled, and then return. The poor reviews the PS2 release has gotten has not raised my hopes any. So, will this game be the rise of the mafia ladder, or will it just help bore you into unconsciousness? Today, we find this out together.
