Years ago, a man by the name of Chris Taylor created a game known as Total Annihilation. This has been referred to as the greatest RTS of all time, by players and reputable sources alike. This game had great battles and amazing sounds and music. Ten years pass and this game holds its firm place atop Mount RTS.

Chris Taylor is now with his company Gas Powered Games, and he has put together another RTS game sure to make its mark in gaming history. Supreme Commander brings back all the greatness of Total Annihilation, in gameplay, sound, and music once again by gaming composer Jeremy Soule. Jeremy Soule is known for his work in games such as Guild Wars, Company of Heroes, Elder Scrolls 3 and 4, Neverwinter Nights, and many other popular games.

You put together a great designer, give him an amazing programming team, and throw in a great soundtrack, and you have Supreme Commander. This game learns from the past with Total Annihilation, even if it is not a true sequel. Unit controls have become easier, and the graphics and engine are leaps and bounds ahead of the older game.
