Perhaps one of the most interesting sports for the strangest of reasons, racing has a strange habit of causing many, many people to enthusiastically go around in circles, ovals, and many other shapes with the promise of fame, glory, and the occasional prize in the bag. Moreover, it also has this curious habit of many-a-person coming along to watch these tireless individuals go round and round, until somebody wins. Now, for most of you, this seems like mere insanity, but to many of us, it’s actually rather enjoyable. The problem is, when we try to simulate it in a game, we’re often left to pick and choose over which type of racing we want to be a part of, rather than being given a whole host of methods and madness to take a part in. Coming in the footsteps of a quite successful British Franchise, TOCA 3: Racecar Driver promises much – that being the promise of umpteen modes of racing, and a strong, sensible, structured career mode of Gameplay. Will it be a success, or will we just go around in circles? Only the best time will tell.
