After
playing through this title (which is surprisingly short if you find the missions
easy) we have but one thing to say to the developers – our condolences
to your franchise. Driv3r is a poor shadow of what it should be, and while the
voice acting and driving music was spot on perfection, everything else was utter
garbage. The game’s opening movies showed such potential, which, if they
only had been developed properly would have turned out an incredible title.
Instead, a decision (the wisdom of which is widely questionable) was made to
drop Tanner back into Miami and start the game slowly and boringly, rather than
continue that high action moment in Nice. Thus, in the end we can’t recommend
bothering with Driv3r – even dedicated fans of the franchise and genre
should stay away from this one.
