The War destroyed most of civilized society. Places such as Paris, London, New York, and Tokyo are nothing more than the remains of what once used to be beautiful cities with beautiful architecture and a pulsating heartbeat.

Now the cities are just ruins and their legacy will soon be forgotten. But now mankind has found a new purpose for the once magnificent metropolis; they are to become the hosts of a popular new sport. In this sport there is just one winner; the losers are dead. Welcome to Death Track.

This is where you come in. You are a rookie driver who wants to make a name for yourself so you sign up for the most "exciting show on earth" - the survival races. Your driving skills will be put to the test as you dodge incoming missiles, bullets, destruction robots, spike traps and even land mines. Luck is also a must. And this year's tournament has a added twist to it; in order for the ratings to take a boost, at the end of each race one of the drivers is killed off the track under mysterious ways. In this game, you're in for one hell-of-a-ride. Don't panic and don't waste your ammo; you're going to need every bullet if you are going to survive in Death Track Resurrection.
