I'm so glad that I live in the Milky Way galaxy because if my home was somewhere in the Enosta galaxy I would have to either die or face the Mirk.
The Mirk is not a powerful alien race with state of the art technology. It is a "deadly galactic cataclysm caused by a mistake made by the Wanderers during the launch o a Hyper-Beacon at the galaxy's center some 800 years ago."
Think of the Mirk as a deadly mist with one single goal: kill all life in its path. The Mirk is spreading and if someone does not find a way to stop it, sooner or later, it will destroy all life in the galaxy. While the Mirk slowly advances towards the last populate worlds, the few remaining races in the galaxy unite to fight a common enemy. All the brilliant minds left alive have one final possible solution to stop the Mirk but the Mirk has ideas of its own. The De'Khete are the Mirks's deadliest creation. Once proud and fierce warriors of the Khete clan, now the De'Khete are dead warriors controlled by the Mirk and they do the Mirk's bidding. While the Mirk advances slowly, the De'Khete are much faster and now the galaxy has to stop them first before they can initialize the final project and the final hope for life in the galaxy. This is were you come in. You are a pilot stuck in the front lines and your skills are greatly valued. It is pilots like you that stand between life and certain destruction. But has the Mirk and the De'Khete gone too far? Is there any hope left? I'm not telling; this is a review not a spoiler.
