When people hear the letters GTA they usually make the association with the very popular game Grand Theft Auto. The last two Grand Theft Auto games both won video game of the year when they were released.
When I think of the letters SR2 I imagine a little two-seater sports car and not of Volition Inc.'s Saints Row 2. While Saints Row 2 is not a brand new release, it is however a brand new release for the PC. Personally, I hate the fact that games get released on different systems on different dates.
So if you're wondering why I'm bothering to write a PC review on a game that is probably a complete port from the Xbox360 version I'll give you one good and simple reason. Ports don't always work right; all you have to do is look at Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC. Because of that fact (and a few others) I feel obligated to take a look at this game myself and share with fellow PC gamers whether or not Saints Row 2 has the markings of a good game or if it is just a waste of forty bucks and 15 GB of hard drive space. And while you can always uninstall the game and get your 15 GB back, I seriously doubt it that you can get your forty bucks back. So let's get started; I'm ready to be a gangster. Are you?
