Da-da (Daddy)! From the very first moment of your life, as soon as you opened your eyes, your dad becomes the most important person in your life.

Due to the sudden departure of your mom, your dad was the one who raised you; from your very first steps to throwing you a big party on your 10th birthday, to the time he escaped the vault and ran out on you, your dad has always been there (except for that time when he escaped the vault, ran out on you and left the Overseer’s men to hunt you down; but I’m not the one to hold a grudge).

And now you’re actually being hunted for something for father has done; “No one in, no one out.” That is the policy of Vault 101 (the place of your birth and now your death if you don’t find a way out of this forsaken vault). A turn here, another turn there, and soon enough you find your way out of the vault and you finally see daylight for the first time. But don’t take too long to admire the sites because the freaks come out at night, and nightfall is coming soon. A little exploring here, a little persuasion there, and if you play your cards right one of the fine citizens of Megaton will point you out in the right direction. Now this is where the story branches out. Do you follow the main quest and find dad and if you do are you going to play nice or just shoot him for making you deal with the outside world? That’s one way to play the game. Another way is to completely ignore your dad and just deal with the Wastelands. With so much violence in the area, there’s always a need for good mercs or whatever. The missions you chose, your attitude in dealing with others, even the clothes you ware affects Fallout’s 3 gameplay and eventually the game’s ending screen. With multiple endings, this game really creates a unique storyline time and time again; a unique, exciting and fun story.
