I’m not too good with math and physics and engineering, but I can almost guarantee it that you’ll get a lot more miles out of GTR Evolution than you would out of your car for the same twenty dollars.

No, this is not the perfect racing game; actually it is far from it. But it was only $20. If it would have been $50, disappointment would be the appropriate word, but for what I paid, I think I actually got a good deal. Not only do I get a brand new game, but I get the prequel as well.

That’s right! GTR Evolution comes with Race 07. If you want to know what Race 07 is about, that review is also posted on the website. And not only that. GTR Evolution is Steam compatible. What that means is that once you install the game and activate it with your serial key, you never need the DVD ever again. You don’t need it in your drive to load up the game, and if your computer crashes or you just uninstall the game for a while, you can always log in your Steam account and just download it again. Talking about Steam, I need to start my Half-Life 2 download; I can’t find one of the 5 disks.

So, for twenty bucks you get not one, but two racing games. The graphics are pretty good in both as is the sound, and they both handle good, but GTR Evolution is the superior of the two. As I said, this game is not a masterpiece, but it is something to keep you pacified in a world where gas prices allow you less and less time in your real vehicle. For the car lovers, virtual reality is about the only thing left. Unless you’re really rich; than you can afford gas and nice cars, so you better pick me up so we can go mudding; I haven’t done that in a while, and last time I did I got my Jeep stuck. Anyhow, if you’re a race fan you’ll appreciate this game, and if you’re not a racing fan but would like to try, for twenty bucks this game is a good way to break into the genre. Gentlemen, start your engines!
