I’m tired of writing a storyline section to sporting games.

True sports gamers know that just about every sports game has the same story. You are a nobody, you excel at your sport, you win some, you win some more, you win the game, you feel all good about yourself.

The same goes for Beijing Olympics 2008. The Olympics start with a nice firework display. After the fireworks there is sweat; your sweat and your guts as you compete for that hard earned gold. No, you don’t train little Johnny from a toddler to an Olympic hero; you don’t have any individual skill points to distribute (in Olympics mode you can distribute points to your team),but what you do have is 36 events (if I counted right); How many Gold medals can you earn? This is your story.
