Electronic has produced hit after hit over their time in the gaming industry. It seems they always come out with one title or another that everyone loves and has to have. One of these series of games is the Need for Speed series or more commonly referred to as NFS. Many games have been produced over the years and I still remember the Need for Speed Underground for my old and now obsolete Playstation.

Yes I said Playstation. Not PS2 or PS3, but the original Playstation. That is how far back this series goes and it is quite remarkable that it has gone as far as it has. Many versions of the Need for Speed games have been done over the years. Some have added new features, some added a storyline, others even added upgrades for your car stereo. Through the many variations of the game, the title has still stayed true to the most important aspect of a racing game, controls and realism.

Every new version comes with new ideas or formats. The last two versions have been more about the professional racing, while other version like NFS Undercover, ha d you racing through traffic and the local streets, and even having to avoid the police. Well if you are looking for the game to out run cops, then please go back to the previous version of the game. But if you are looking for a better controlling more realistic driving experience, then please read on.
